The challenge

The problem we set out to solve

  • Operators had little visibility into where vehicles were, how they were driven, or how fuel was used.
  • Fuel theft and waste were hard to detect, and trip logs were manual and easy to manipulate.
  • Maintenance was reactive — vehicles broke down instead of being serviced on time.
  • Routes were planned by intuition, adding avoidable distance, fuel, and time.

Our approach

How we solved it

The principle was simple: track everything, optimize everything. High-volume GPS and sensor telemetry is ingested through a serverless pipeline (AWS Lambda) into MongoDB, while the core domain lives in Django + PostgreSQL.

Celery workers turn raw telemetry into alerts, driver scores, and reports; a Vue.js dashboard gives operations a live view and a Flutter app puts tasks and navigation in drivers' hands.
